April 7th-War without Tears

Today's moment of zen is dedicated to Syrian civilians.  It's great that 45 was moved to action by the horrible suffering of innocent people. However, he still wants to ban Syrian refugees from the United States.  I'm not sure how much an air strike really helps, it's going to take a heck of a lot more to change things for the people of Syria.

April 6th-Without Our Traditions, Our Lives Would Be As Shaky As... As A Fiddler On The Roof!"

Today's moment of zen is dedicated to bipartisanship, tradition, and compromise.  They were delivered a blow by the turtle man today in the Senate. A sad day for those that believe the rules and traditions of the Senate gave us stronger government and better checks and balances.

April 5th-Smoke and Mirrors

Today's moment of zen is dedicated to Susan Rice who 45 is accusing of a very serious crime but without any evidence to back him up....unless you count The Drudge Report as a source. Cough, cough the smoke is getting pretty thick around POTUS.

April 4th-The Blame Game

Today's moment of zen is dedicated to the people of Syria.  45 blaming his predecessor for a chemical weapons attack that happened on his watch while offering nothing in terms of a solution to the problem is as weak and small as his hands.  Just once, stand up and be a leader not a tweeter POTUS.

April 3rd - But But Hillary!

Today's moment of zen is dedicated to Hillary.  Five months after the election and every time Trump needs the adulation of his base or a distraction from his failures, he tweets about her. Including asking about her receiving "answers" in a debate, that was from the primaries.  Last time I checked:  1. He won.  2. He has some pretty big issues to tackle as POTUS. 3.  Debates only have questions, the whole idea is you are supposed to provide answer that convince people you are right.  

April 2nd-You can't yell fire in a crowded theater

Today's moment of zen is dedicated to the limits of free speech. 45 is learning words matter and what you say has ramifications that aren't always protected by the first amendment.  I'm sure he'll tweet about how unfair it is soon enough.

April 1st-Fool's (Russian) Gold

Today's moment of zen is dedicated to being so rich that you "forget" about $150,000 in income you made on the federal financial disclosure forms you had to fill out as part of your lengthy 24 day tenure as National Security Adviser to 45 (including money from the Russians).
